Dark Side Of The Moon

Sherrilyn Kenyon

Published 2006    322 pages

Synopsis

Susan Michaels is reporter following a hot lead that could revive her career.  This lead takes her to the animal shelter where she is given a cat to take home, not a natural choice for her to make as she is allergic to cats.

She gets more than she bargained for when she gets the cat home and it promptly turns into a handsome naked man.  Ravyn is a Were-Hunter (hence the ability to turn into a cat) who is also a Dark-Hunter.  With the Daimons plotting to kill all the Dark-Hunters and take over Seattle on thing is for certain - Susan’s life will never be the same again….

Review

This book is another solid instalment in the Dark Hunter series. Fast paced action and hot romance kept me hooked from start to finish.  The plotting is first rate and the Dark Hunter books still feel original and fresh even ten books into the series.  This book was almost a five out of five and definitely recommended reading.

Editor’s Choice

Soulless by Gail Carriger

I LOVED this book! It takes the best parts of the urban fantasy, romance, mystery and alternative history genres adds a dash of steampunk, wraps it up in a coating of Victorian sensibility and turns it into something more than the sum of its parts. Fabulous! Read the review.
